Habitat for Humanity links with 13 other entities to rehab a home for a local family in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Together with 360 volunteers and 125 hours of construction work from the homeowners, the rehab project spans over 11 consecutive Saturdays until completion. The homeowners are responsible for a down payment, must attend home-ownership classes about budgeting, home maintenance and being a good neighbor.
